Of course, fans of the reality star understand what she is talking about. Back in July, she revealed the shocking news that Atz Lee was divorcing her. She made it clear that this was not what she wanted. He wanted a divorce. But, she was not going to hang around with someone who didn’t want to be with her.
This was a shocker for fans because this couple had been together for nearly 20 years. They live in some extreme situations on the Kilcher homestead in a remote area of Alaska. They weathered Atz Lee nearly dying in a horrific fall.
But, in the end, the couple’s relationship fell apart. Now, Jane is starting anew. Most of all, she is optimistic about the future. The drama and pain of the last year are behind her.
Jane Kilcher Met Atz Lee On Her 12th Birthday
This year’s birthday is a very different post from the Alaska: The Last Frontier star. Until this year, Jane Kilcher would always share on social media that she met Atz Lee on her 12th birthday. Atz Lee had just turned 10 a few weeks before this historic meeting.
In 2022, it was her last such post. Every year, she would share a loving photo of her with Atz Lee and include the same sentiment, only changing years. Although her Instagram has been scrubbed, her Facebook is still intact.
For example, on her 48th birthday she wrote on Facebook, “Happy Birthday to me and for knowing Atz Lee for 36 years.”
However, the couple never explained what the circumstances or details of this first meeting. However, less than two decades later, the couple reunited and married.

Jane Kilcher’s birthday is on September 14. Where did she spend it? Thanks to her social media, she revealed she was in Newfoundland, Canada for a wedding. But, she asked fans for ideas on what to do, as she hinted she was celebrating a birthday there.
Based on her posts, she went dancing at Shamrock City Pub, commenting, “Haven’t danced in a long time.” Sounds like she plans on more celebrating and fun times like this in the future.
