My 600-lb Life Season 4 featured the story of Randy Statum. He weighed over 650 pounds and was fighting for his life. He needed help in almost everything he did. But the Texas native was willing to change his life, which ultimately led him to Dr. Now. A lot of things have happened to the former TLC star since appearing in 2016. Randy was motivated to lose weight for the sake of his daughter. His unhealthy lifestyle kept him from seeing her. The My 600-lb Life alum also had troubles with his marriage at the time. He began to gain weight in his 20s and appeared on the show at 35, making it difficult for him to rapidly shed pounds. He had to make strict adjustments, especially when it comes to his diet.

But he never gave up and followed Dr. Now’s orders. He was able to drop 214 pounds by the end of the tenth episode and lowered his weight down to 441 lbs. The former reality TV personality was able to walk again, which made him even more motivated. Randy has kept in touch with the fans on social media. He has yet to share his current weight. But his recent photos show that he has maintained a healthy lifestyle throughout the years.

Randy Suffered Multiple Heartbreaks

Randy also went through some big setbacks in life. The former My 600-lb Life star was left by his first wife due to fertility issues. He later remarried and had a daughter. However, depression and the inability to lose more weight caused his second wife to leave along with their child. The traumatic experience left him inspired to work on his weight.

At this point, it seems Randy Statum regularly sees his daughter. He has been present for the little girl when it comes to school-related activities. In April 2021, the loving father uploaded a sweet photo with his child during a father-daughter school event.

Randy has been discreet regarding his job. However, it seems that he has become a full-time father after losing enough weight. It also appears that he’s now making good decisions for himself and his family. Not much is known about his relationship status since his second divorce. Though it seems he’s putting a lot of time and effort into his daughter. He also entered into a new hobby of deer hunting and fishing.
