‘DWTS’ Alan Bersten Claps Back At ‘Bachelorette’ Kaitlyn Bristowe
DWTS pro, Alan Bersten heard what The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe said about him on her podcast. Now he’s clapping back and addressing her allegations.
Each and every year, there seems to be some backstage drama on Dancing With The Stars. But pro dancer, Alan Bersten genuinely seemed surprised that The Bachelorette, Kaitlyn Bristowe had a problem with his behavior.
Keep reading and see how he responded to her call out and how this year’s rehearsals are going.
Alan Bersten responds to Kaitlyn Bristowe’s allegations
On a recent episode of her podcast, Kaitlyn Bristowe hosted The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson and her fiance Dotun Olubeko. At the time, Charity had been invited to join DWTS Season 32 but hadn’t met her dancing partner yet.
Kaitlyn and pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev went on to win the Mirrorball Trophy in Season 29. But she dealt with many of the pros backstage and warned Charity about them, particularly Alan Bersten.
“He’s kind of a d—k, but I can see it. Well, they’re all d—ks. They’re all d—ks, I’m telling you. Buckle up,” she said.
Charity was ultimately partnered with Artem Chigvintsev, but Kaitlyn’s warning probably still rings in her ears.
Alan heard about the podcast and definitely had something to say.
“First of all, I never danced with Kaitlyn, so I don’t know why that would even come up,” Alan told Us Weekly in a recent interview. “I take a lot of pride in my work and I make sure that above all else, my partners feel comfortable and confident in themselves.”
During Season 29, Alan competed with Disney Channel star Skai Jackson. They finished in 5th place out of 15 couples. Although Kaitlyn’s words were a little harsh, the 29-year-old admits he wasn’t really offended. He told Us Weekly that he actually took it as a compliment.
What will the competition look like this year?
This year, Alan Bersten is teaming up with Jamie Lynn Spears in hopes of winning the competition. They were the first pair confirmed on Good Morning America. Thankfully, it seems like things are going well.
“When I tell you [that] you can’t teach people to be passionate or to care or to be kind, and she is so kind, she’s so caring and she really tries so hard,” Alan said about the Zoey 101 actress to Us Weekly. “I can’t give her enough compliments because she really comes in and works.”
At the end of the day, DWTS requires a lot of hard work and dedication. Passionate people are bound to butt heads in the heat of the competition.
