In February, Travis and Katie’s first baby was born. Little Hailey James Clark is growing up quickly and just celebrated her seven-month milestone over the weekend. Thanks to social media, fans get regular updates about the adorable baby girl. Of course, Bringing Up Bates fans are obsessed with her.
Katie’s parents had their kids very close in age. With 19 children, there wasn’t a huge gap between any of them. And now, some of Katie’s siblings are starting their own families and have smaller age gaps too.

Is the Bringing Up Bates family growing again soon?
In a new YouTube video this weekend, Katie Bates and Travis Clark shared with fans whether they have plans for another baby. They are excited to give Hailey a sibling soon and think it would be nice to have their kids close in age. They could play sports together and have the close relationship that Katie has with her siblings.
Katie admitted that her ideas about spacing have changed. She previously wanted a larger age gap, but now, since having Hailey, she feels that an age gap of two years or less would be great. Travis agreed that he likes the idea of the kids being in the “same life stages.”
For now, they are soaking up their time with Hailey and making memories with her. The couple feels that Hailey is an easy, happy baby. Travis said he’s probably going to be ready sooner than Katie is, but he wants to leave the decision up to Katie because she has to go through pregnancy and childbirth.
Only time will tell how close in age Hailey will be to her future brothers and sisters.
