My 600-lb Life alum Lucas Higdon debuted in Season 10 at 619 pounds. He was struggling to move, which also hindered his desire to be successful in life. Due to this, he decided to seek Dr. Now’s help. Since then, the 33-year-old has turned his life around and is now one of the most inspiring stars in the franchise. My 600-lb Life: Lucas Higdon’s Incredible Weight Loss In Just A Short Time
Lucas began to make changes to his diet by the time he met Dr. Now. He was advised to have a low-calorie diet and dropped over 80 pounds after a few months, which qualified him for bariatric surgery. After 12 months, the My 600-lb Life alum shed 218 pounds. He has also kept in touch with the fans on social media regarding his weight loss journey.
In February, the Texas native showed off his slimmer face. Many were also impressed by the progress he has made in just two years. In November 2022, the former reality TV personality uploaded a picture of himself featuring the changes in his body. “380lbs *PRESENT*,” Lucas captioned. He has yet to share his current weight this year. Though it’s clear that he’s been working hard to achieve his physical goals.
Lucas Has Big Goals For 2023
Lucas also took to Instagram in February to share that he’s looking forward to something bigger this year. According to the former My 600-lb Life star, his next big goal this year is to move to Colorado. But in his FB post on August 12th, he revealed that he will instead be settling down in Michigan, Garden City, for his new job.
He was hired by a telecommunications company in the IT department, which is something he excels at. His social media bio also states that he’s a digital artist. Lucas Higdon has been a hardworking person. During the show, it was revealed that he had a computer-related job despite his challenging weight.

Many My 600-lb Life fans believe that Lucas will be reaching his weight loss goals in no time. He has been consistent with his workouts and even showed interest in competitive weight lifting. It hasn’t been long since he appeared on the show. However, he has already made significant progress compared to some of his batchmates.
At this point, Lucas Higdon usually enjoys making digital art and has uploaded tons of samples to his IG account. It’s unclear if he’s currently in a relationship. But it seems he wants to focus more on giving himself a better life.
