On the show, fans saw the close relationship Micah, Moriah, Ethan, and Olivia all shared. Moriah and Olivia were especially close to one another, and Olivia offered plenty of support and advice. They used to share sweet tributes to each other on social media and spent a lot of time together.
Things were up and down at times with little disagreements and family drama, as expected. But now, things have drastically changed.
This season, it looks like things are too far gone for Olivia and Moriah Plath to reconcile.
Why did Micah & Moriah go crawling back to their parents?
As shown in the Welcome to Plathville Season 5 premiere, Micah and Moriah Plath appear to be on their parents’ side these days. On the show, the family discussed Olivia’s accusations against Kim. Olivia claimed that Kim used Ethan’s credit card and never repaid him. However, Micah, Moriah, Kim, and Barry disagree with what she’s said about the situation. They think Olivia is brainwashing Ethan and that she’s lying to viewers too. This has turned the whole family on Ethan and Olivia.
Now, it’s totally possible that Micah and Moriah have simply chosen sides. But fans think there could be more to the story, especially with how much drama there’s been between Moriah Plath and her parents at times. On Reddit, fans are entertaining the idea of Micah and Moriah needing financial assistance and that’s why they’ve decided to go crawling back to their parents.
One fan predicted, “Moriah and Micah have returned to Kim’s t*at because she and Barry are at least partially funding their lifestyles in some way.” Another fan agreed, “That would make the sudden shift in loyalty back to the parents.”
Someone else said, “I suspect that Barry & Kim give Micah and Moriah money and that’s why they’ve flipped over to how great Kim & Barry are all of a sudden.”
