‘American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe Leaving Show?
Fans of the History Channel have been falling for the cancellation of American Pickers for a few seasons now. The series just hasn’t performed as well as it used to. And, many fans say they gave up watching the show because without Frank Fritz it lost its luster.
Turns out, rumors have been swirling for a while that the History Channel may finally be pulling the plug on the series. It, however, might not be because of the ratings. It might be because Mike Wolfe is ready to walk away from the show. And, without Mike or Frank, many agree there’s really no show to continue to move forward with.

He’s Been Working Hard On Other Ventures
As those who follow Mike Wolfe know, he’s been pushing a lot of other ventures on his Instagram as of late. This includes the recent promotion of his Tennessee Airbnb. Hustling and pushing all of these different streams of income makes so much sense to fans of Mike is considering walking away from the show.
The question is: Is this just a nasty fan rumor because they are still bitter over Frank? Or, is Mike Wolfe actually thinking about retirement?
American Pickers: Mike Wolfe Leaving Show?
Kicking off the month of September, a friend of Mike came forward about the show. The friend admitted in an exclusive to The Sun that they were not sure American Pickers would be continuing for took much longer.
The source explained: “I don’t know how long Mike and Robbie want to do this. I think they would like to retire at some point. It’s been 12 years. It’s a strain on your life.”
This source clarified they could not say for sure when things would end. But, they knew Mike wanted a life beyond the show.
They’ve done this a long time. When they’re around it’s, ‘Ah we’re on the road again. I ain’t got time to do this, I ain’t got time to do that.’ It’s a love-hate like with any job. Some days, you don’t wish you had that job, and you could do whatever you wanted. Some days, you’re all excited about your job.”
Per his friend, Mike Wolfe has a very love-and-hate relationship with American Pickers. And, it may just be time for the show to come to an end. Then, it just really becomes a matter of if the show could continue without him.
