‘Love Is Blind’ Fans Are LIVID About Season 5, Why?
Love Is Blind Season 5 will premiere on Netflix before long. But already, many fans are upset about the upcoming season.
Since the popular dating show first aired during the pandemic, it’s only grown in popularity over the years. But plenty of fans are already less than enthused about the upcoming season.
And if something doesn’t change soon, viewership may drop off over time. What exactly has viewers so agitated?
Love Is Blind fans rail against the show’s hosts
Nick and Vanessa Lachey absolutely love hosting Love Is Blind, even if viewers want them replaced. They’re committed to the series and have no plans of leaving anytime soon.

A promo for the newest season dropped on Instagram and fans did not hold back at all about their feelings.
“I hope y’all picked new hosts after Vanessa’s atrocities last season,” one viewer wrote in the comments on the promo.
“The hosts should be a married couple from a past season,” another chimed in. Cameron and Lauren Hamilton have been a popular choice among fans for the position.
Several others commented on the way show participants have been treated in the past. There have been allegations about poor working conditions on the set, unfair compensation, and more.
The online hate for the Lacheys is so strong that viewers even launched a petition to have them removed from the series. Currently, it has over 45,000 signatures.
“From the initial season, the hosts felt pretty useless and out of place,” the petition on change.org reads. “They seem to be much more concerned with directing as much attention at themselves and their personal lives rather than focusing on the contestants that are actually participating in the experiment. Many enjoy the show but it’s being held back from its full potential with cringy Nick and Vanessa Lachey.”
Nick Lachey has been in hot water lately
Nick Lachey is already wildly unpopular with Love Is Blind fans. But he’s also allegedly very unpleasant to be around in general. As TV Shows Ace previously shared, he got into an altercation with a member of the paparazzi. Many celebrities feel frustrated with paparazzi members, but the LIB host took things a bit too far.
“Nick’s not really on the radar. I just saw him and I figured I would get a shot of a couple coming out of a restaurant. I have taken photos of him plenty of times and never had a problem, but this time was different,” the paparazzi member told The Daily Mail after the reported incident. “He flipped me off and then I heard Vanessa say, ‘Go get ’em, open the door’ and then he started walking towards my car all aggressive.”
