Although they aren’t wildly popular with Love Is Blind fans, it appears that Nick and Vanessa Lachey aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

When Season 4 ended, Netflix subscribers were so outraged by their hosting abilities that they launched a Change.org petition to get the Lacheys off the show. As of late April 2023, it has a little over 42,000 signers.

In the petition, fans cited many grievances with the married couple, including the disrespect they often show guests. Fans may not have much authority here, but it doesn’t stop them from dreaming.

If fans could change Love Is Blind, they would definitely give the Lacheys the axe and replace them with different hosts. But who?

Love Is Blind fans want the Lacheys out and the Hamiltons in

Nick and Vanessa Lachey will be part of Love Is Blind for the foreseeable future, as reported by ET. But if fans could replace them with anyone, they want the Hamiltons from Season 1.

Cameron Hamilton and Lauren Speed fell in love in the pods and never really seemed to have much drama onscreen. In fact, they’re still happy and in love today. The pair even have their very own YouTube channel where they discuss married life.

Love Is Blind fans seemed to have soured on the Lacheys long ago, but Season 4 finally pushed them over the edge. Now, even the show’s contestants have something to say about the issue.

Fans rail against the hosts after Season 4 draws to a close

Love Is Blind Season 4 participant Paul Peden wasn’t at all happy with the way Nick and Vanessa hosted the reunion special. Paul felt that Vanessa in particular was out to get him and asked way too many personal questions.

“I was like, ‘F**k, man.’ They kept drilling, drilling it down on me,” Paul confided in ET after the event came to an end. “I think I said my piece. I think Vanessa might have had a little bit of personal bias in that scenario or at least I kind of detected that. I don’t know. But that’s just my assumption based on how she continued to drill into it after I gave my full rationale for why I felt the way that I did.”

However, Love Is Blind Season 2 contestants Natalie Lee and Deepti Vempati came to the Lacheys’ defense on their podcast.

“Look, I know we’re biased because of course we know Vanessa and Nick. We really considered them as mom and dad during filming,” Natalie informed listeners. “They played this role of mentors to us, providing advice as we were making our decision to say ‘I do’ or ‘I don’t’ on our wedding day. I also agree with the criticism, but I also think it’s unfair as well with how much backlash she’s getting. It feels like a dog pile.”

Deepti said she agreed and felt like fans were pushing the situation way too far.
