Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian’s urgent medical emergency that had Travis Barker rushing home has been explained. She was hospitalized and her unborn baby’s life was very much in danger. The Hulu star took to Instagram roughly 30 minutes ago to break her silence on what happened. Turns out, Kourtney Kardashian was hospitalized with the need for emergency fetal surgery to save their unborn child’s life.

Pregnant Kourtney Kardashian Receives Emergency Fetal Surgery

Kourtney Kardashian shared a colorless photo of her and Travis Barker holding hands. She started her caption by noting how grateful she was for the medical team that worked the save the life of her unborn child. Kourtney also wanted to thank her incredible husband. Her husband abandoned his tour and rushed home at a moment’s notice to support her.

Despite some of the negative press Kris Jenner has been receiving during this medical emergency, Kourtney also thanked her. She thanked Kris for holding her hand during the entire ordeal.

Kourtney proceeded to admit that as a person “three really easy pregnancies in the past” her eyes were now open wide. And, the entire ordeal left her feeling extremely unprepared.

As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.

She concluded with a white heart emoji and some prayer hands: “Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”

Unfortunately, the reality TV star did not shed too much light on exactly what happened to her unborn child. She, however, did reassure everyone that her baby boy was still safe inside of her tummy.

Within 40 minutes, Kourtney’s 224M followers showered her post with 1.2M followers. Truthfully, fans of the Kardashian and Jenner family have been in a panic since they first learned of the medical emergency. Furthermore, the silence from the entire family made the fear worse. So, her followers were deeply grateful to finally have answers to what happened. Moreover, fans were relieved to learn both Kourtney and the baby were alright.
