Jana Duggar Heads Off To College?
Did former Counting On star Jana Duggar head off to college? Eagle-eyed fans spotted her in a new photo that seems to suggest she’s furthering her education. However, it’s not typical for the Duggars to go to college in person. So, what’s going on with Jana? Scroll down to see what fans think is going on here.
What’s the latest on Jana Duggar?
Several members of the Duggar family, including Jana, have been keeping quiet on social media. She last shared a post in March 2022. She seems to be enjoying her life outside of the public eye. The last time fans heard from her, she was tackling DIY projects and home renovations, along with some of her brothers.
It looks like she’s either living at her parents’ home or in a tiny home on their property. But since she’s so quiet online, it’s possible she’s gotten her own place by now or has another living arrangement.
Is Jana Duggar heading off to college?
On Reddit, a fan or critic of the Duggar family shared a new photo, which featured Jana in a group of about 10 or 12 people. The photo was taken at a community college, which certainly caught fans’ attention. Unfortunately, the picture has since been removed from Reddit, but it was reposted on Instagram too. On social media, fans still have a lot to say about the possibility of Jana furthering her education.

Fans believe that Jana is involved with a ministry group at the community college. However, it’s unclear whether she attends the community college or if she is a part of the ministry group for another reason. Perhaps she attended with a friend or was a guest speaker. A Reddit user pointed out, “Just wanted to add that I actually went to a college ministry even though I wasn’t in college.”
Other fans are hopeful that Jana Duggar is finally pursuing a college degree. One said, “It would be smart to take advantage of her status as a stay-at-home daughter and enroll in college. Maybe reality has sunk in and she’s realized that she’ll need qualifications if she’s going to support herself as a single woman.”
Another optimistic fan added, “Wouldn’t mean she’s breaking out of the cult or anything but would mean perhaps her parents won’t be so locked down on allowing their kids opportunities.”
Unfortunately, unless Jana shares something herself, there’s no way to know for sure whether she’s in college. There are many possibilities here.
What do Jim Bob & Michelle think of college?
Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar made the decision to homeschool their 19 children. Some of the kids have taken online college courses, according to their parents. They don’t appear to get degrees but rather supplement their education with additional classes. Also, they don’t attend in-person college classes like many high school graduates do.
So, that’s why Jana possibly attending college is a big deal.
