‘Love After Lockup’ Shocker, Cast Member Suddenly Dies
The Love After Lockup community is mourning the loss of one of their very own in a shocking death. Viewers were just getting to know this cast member and now, they will likely only know part of the story. So, who has passed and how did it happen? Read on for all of the details.
Love After Lockup Shocker, Cast Member Suddenly Dies
The new season of Love After Lockup is just weeks away. Therefore, Love During Lockup is currently airing and with that, some of the couples will move on to the next round. One of the lucky duos was Raneka and Asonta. The two fell in love and Raneka decided to give up her whole life to move to Georgia for Asonta. Along with her two daughters, they packed up and left but it has been anything but easy. Asonta’s release was delayed and he needed more money. Then, Raneka went to pick him up but found out he had already been released.
The last straw for viewers was when he called Raneka from the Sheriff’s Office and he expected her to have his bond. Then, he was caught on the phone with someone so it seemed she was being played. Regardless, they will be moving on to Love After Lockup but, sadly, Asonta has passed away.

According to @rewatchreality, Raneka posted the news. There were two photos of him, one that read “Fly high” and the other that said, “R.I.H TO A REAL ONE.” She also acknowledged their bickering but noted that she knew she loved him “more than any woman that stepped on earth.”

Other friends sent out tributes, saying how much they were going to miss him. There was also a woman who mentioned their son and how they were halfway there. So, it does appear that he may have either had someone else along with Raneka or he moved on after they parted ways. Regardless of it all, it is a tragedy and never should have happened.
How Did It Happen?
Everyone seems devastated over the Love After Lockup star’s death. At this time, the cause seems unknown. It is also unclear how the show will address it since he has not been painted in the best light. However, the season finale of Love During Lockup will air Friday, September 8th so maybe they will acknowledge him at the end.

If I’m correct, Raneka and Asonta were on the outs. Now that he can no longer distract her from the relationships between Raneka and her daughters, maybe she can get back to being a proper mother to them.
