‘Today:’ Craig Melvin’s Son Starts School Year In Hefty Foot Cast
For the most part, Today Show host Craig Melvin keeps his Instagram activity professional. So, it is a rare treat when he shares a photo of his beautiful wife and/or his children with his 347K followers. Two days ago, however, was a big and special day in Craig Melvin’s household. And, it was special enough that he shared three photos of his beautiful family on his Instagram profile.
Turns out, this special day was his son and daughter’s first day of school. Unfortunately, it looked as though his son Delano was kicking off the school year with a hefty cast on one of his feet. Today: Craig Melvin’s Son Starts School Year In Hefty Foot Cast
The talk show personality shared three photos to his Instagram profile two days ago featuring his beautiful family. The first featured him and his wife Lindsay Czarniak standing next to each other with their children Delano and Sybil in front of them. The family came together to say farewell to summer break and hello to a fresh school year. Both children held up chalkboards that shared what school year they were entering.

At the age of nine, Delano was kicking off 4th grade. And, his six-year-old sister was heading into 1st grade. It looked as if they placed the camera down low on the ground as the family all bent down and leaned in when the photo was snapped. Lindsay Czarniak looked to have the biggest smile on her face in the first photo. And, that joy was something other mothers that followed Craig found to be relatable.
The second photo featured a close-up of Delano holding his sign. And, the third photo was a close-up of Sybil with her sign.
In the caption, Craig confirmed his son had a cast on his foot. He, however, didn’t share exactly how it happened. He simply noted it was “a long story.”
