Adam Busby Shares Raw, Powerful Post About His ‘5 Tiny Miracles’

The father of six is putting the spotlight on his quintuplet daughters, Ava, Riley, Hazel, Olivia, and Parker. The little girls are now eight years old and they’re thriving, but they didn’t have the easiest start to life. The family has been open about the girls’ time in the NICU. Adam is sharing some of the vulnerable details of his daughters’ birth, time in the NICU, and beyond.

On his Instagram page on Friday, September 1, Adam revealed to OutDaughtered fans that it’s officially NICU Awareness Month. He posted a photo from Danielle’s C-section with the quints. In the snap, the medical team can be seen delivering one of the tiny babies.
Adam wrote, “Today marks the start of NICU awareness month. It’s a time in our lives that we will never forget. Watching 5 tiny miracles barely bigger than the palm of my hand, fight for 3 long months. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever been through.”
He emotionally added, “This day, the birth of our 5 little quintuplets was probably one of the most powerfully moving moments of my life.”
In a comment, Adam Busby mentioned that this picture is of Hazel Grace being delivered. The little one was just two pounds at birth. After four months in the NICU, all five Busby quints came home.
In his post, the OutDaughtered dad also gave the medical team a shoutout. He explained that they had organized five separate teams, one for each of the girls. As each baby was delivered, the team took them off to the NICU.
