Khloe Kardashian Changes 2nd Child’s Name Over A Year After Birth

As usual, The Kardashians had a big week. Leather boots came out, sexy photos of Kim Kardashian, and a shocking new haircut. Kourtney Kardashian is still growing her new bundle and is excited about the due date. Meanwhile, little True made a big step in growing up and Khloe Kardashian didn’t handle it as well as hoped. Evidently, Khloe Kardashian also made time to change her son’s name after more than a year. I guess she’s been a little busy over the past 13 months! Read below to find out the details.
Khloe Kardashian’s Kids Are Growing So Fast
Khloe Kardashian’s daughter, True, is now 5 years old and starting school. It has been a surprisingly emotion-filled first step for Khloe Kardashian as her oldest kicks off the new school year. She took lots of photos of this first and updated fans on the smiling kindergartener’s special day. Precious Tatum is now 13 months old. Khloe Kardashian welcomed her son via surrogate just a little over a year ago. His sweet little name was announced in Season 3 of The Kardashians. Khloe also shared in the series about her challenges with bonding with her son after surrogacy.
As any parent knows, time flies when you have kids. They change daily and experience so many things along the way. Surprisingly, though, the celebrity has made a name change for Tatum more than a year after birth. The family stays super busy and the first year in a child’s life can add extra challenges. Undoubtedly, there was probably a good reason for the delay.
Time For A Name Change?
Now that Tatum is 13 months old, Khloe Kardashian has decided to change things up a bit. She has legally changed the name of her and Tristan Thompson‘s baby boy. Apparently, Khloe was still deciding on the infant’s official name at the time they brought him home. The Kardashians star initially listed her son Tatum‘s name as Baby Kardashian on his birth certificate. This week, the family went before a Los Angeles County judge. Soon, the name change was granted for the now 13-month-old. He is now officially Tatum Thompson.

Family Bonding
Understandably, Khloe Kardashian has faced unusual circumstances with the raising of Tatum. During these challenges, her mom Kris Jenner has offered support. Kris Jenner told Khloe Kardashian to go easier on herself because she is a loving, doting mom. “I wish I wasn’t so critical of myself,” Khloe Kardashian confessed, “because I’m very kind to everyone else, I’m just not very kind to myself. But being a mom is truly one of, just the most magical experiences ever.” The Kardashians star is doing so much to show her love and care for both of her children.
