Frank Fritz Heading Back To ‘American Pickers?
Frank Fritz might be preparing to return to American Pickers one year after his stroke. This is huge news for fans, as most have felt the show hasn’t been the same since firing Frank back in 2021. However, Frank has a ways to go before he returns to the series, if he does at all.

Frank Fritz in talks for American Pickers return
In 2020, Frank Fritz made his last appearance in American Pickers. At the time, fans had no idea they wouldn’t see the popular reality TV star on the show again. Frank dealt with some addiction issues and checked himself into rehab to work on getting better. Despite making a proactive move to get better, American Pickers fired him from the show in 2021.
Fans mostly blamed Mike Wolfe. Mike and Frank shared a friendship since childhood and they co-hosted the show together for a decade before American Pickers fired Frank. Mike replaced him with his own brother and the show moved on, but fans have constantly bemoaned the loss of Frank. The show never was the same without him in the cast. In 2022, Frank suffered a massive stroke that paralyzed one-half of his body.
While Frank needed a conservatorship and a guardian, he has started to recover from the stroke and is seemingly getting better by the day. Now, reports surfaced that Frank is now only watching episodes of American Pickers to “support his friends,” but he is also in talks to return to the show (via U.S. Sun). The news comes from a source “close to Frank,” who said that his termination was not as big of a deal to Frank as it was to the fans.

While many fans felt that Mike Wolfe betrayed his friend when American Pickers fired Frank, that might not be what really happened. The source claimed that Frank didn’t care that the show fired him. “He came home after filming and said, ‘I think I’m going to be done for a while.’ I think he had burnout,” they said. Frank just underwent back surgery and he wanted to take a break.
It seems there might have been plans for Frank’s return before the stroke shut that down. The source said that Mike and Robbie come to see him, as does the American Pickers crew. “There is no bad blood,” the source said, adding that their conversation is always about “picking and finding stuff.” They said it all comes down to what Frank wants as he recovers.
