Demi Burnett Appeared In ‘BIP’ Season 9 Trailer, Is She Back Again?
Demi Burnett was introduced to Bachelor Nation in 2019 when she appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. She didn’t find love with him so she moved on to the beach in Mexico for Bachelor in Paradise. She’s made two appearances on the beach and now she is seen in a preview for the upcoming Season 9. Demi Burnett appearing in BIP Season 9?
Will Demi Burnett be joining the long list of cast members for Season 9 of BIP? While it does seem like something she may do, she is not returning this summer to the beach. The question remains, why is she in the trailer for the upcoming season and what was shown?
Demi noticed as well as many others that she appeared in the new trailer for Bachelor in Paradise which will debut on September 28. She went to Twitter or X as it’s now known and shared another tweet that revealed a photo of the clip. The shot included her and Brendan Morais on a jet ski. This actually happened during Season 7 of the show. Demi captioned the post, “And do I get residuals? No”
She is definitely not appearing and in 2022 even told US Weekly that she didn’t see herself ever doing BIP again. In fact she went so far as to say that she is out of their league.
Fans joked around that with budget cuts they had to reuse old footage.
Her time on and off the show
When Demi made her debut on Paradise for Season 6 she actually ended up coming out as bisexual. In fact, in a franchise first, Demi and Kristian Haggerty got engaged. The two ended their relationship later that year.
When she appeared on Season 7 of the show in 2021 she did pursue Brendan Morais for a bit. However, once he decided to explore other options she set her sights on Kenny Braasch. That too didn’t work out. He and Mari Pepin got engaged and are actually getting married this year.
After the show, she did have some relationships but none have worked out. She later announced that she had been diagnosed with autism. Since admitting her diagnosis she has shared that she needs help taking care of herself. Demi revealed she doesn’t always eat or shower and really needs someone to help her remember to do these things.

She still keeps up with her Bachelor Nation family and even just went to Paris for Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour’s wedding.
