‘Today’ Savannah Guthrie Still Out, No Set Return Date
Today host Savannah Guthrie is still out with no set date to return. Naturally, viewers are worried about her. Every day, one of her colleagues appears in her seat on the morning show. Savannah Guthrie has missed several days of Today.
As we’ve reported, Savannah has been away from her role on the Today Show. She was gone for a couple of days to attend a Taylor Swift concert with her daughter, Vale. Then, she returned to her seat. It wasn’t more than a couple of days before she disappeared again. Her co-hosts informed viewers that she was sick. She came back one day this week but has been out the rest of the week, including Thursday, August 24.

Now, it’s not uncommon for the Today hosts to take time off here and there. As we’ve reported, Hoda Kotb took a day off recently to get some extra rest after an early morning with her kids. Craig Melvin was also out on vacation last week. The reason fans are so worried about Savannah is because she has been out a lot lately, and fans simply want to make sure she’s okay.
When the show began on Thursday, Craig had taken Savannah’s usual place beside Hoda. Naturally, this sparked concerns among fans. Why was Savannah out once again? Is everything okay?

Over the past couple of weeks, there has been little information about Savannah’s absences. Of course, fans want to respect her privacy, but at the same time, they want to know whether she’s alright. Fortunately, this time around, Hoda had some details she was able to share.
On the show, Hoda explained, “Savannah is on vacation, Craig is here with me.” Unfortunately, Hoda couldn’t say too much about Savannah’s vacation or reveal how long she would be gone.
Hopefully, Savannah will be back soon. She certainly has many fans concerned about her absence. But now that fans know that she’s enjoying a well-deserved vacation, they can breathe a sigh of relief.
At this time, Savannah is also keeping fairly quiet on social media. She hasn’t posted anything related to her absence or shared any vacation photos yet. So, what Hoda shared is all that fans know at this time.
