Hoda Kotb kicked off the week by taking to Instagram and telling her followers “hello” and to enjoy the rest of their day. With her post, she included an inspirational meme. The meme was labeled as a “goal.”
“Be so grounded in your own vibe that you stop adopting other people’s energy.”
Yesterday, Hoda took to Instagram again with another inspirational meme. Again, she wished her followers well with a simple caption.
“Today, just focus on being a little better than yesterday.”
Her inspirational post from Monday was liked a little over 4,000 times. It also netted a little less than 50 comments. The stats on her inspirational post for Tuesday, however, were twice as high.

Nearly 9,000 people liked what she had to say on Tuesday. And, nearly 100 people took the time to leave a comment.
Posting the occasional inspirational quote or meme is not unusual for The Today Show host. But, scrolling through her profile reveals it wasn’t something she typically did on a daily basis.

Did Sheryl Lee Ralph Inspire Her?
As Today Show fans know, the actress Sheryl Lee Ralph sat down with Hoda and her co-host Jenna about a week ago. The co-hosts were thrilled to welcome her in as she was an extremely inspirational woman.
Sheryl Lee Ralph kicked off the segment by reminding everyone how important it was to take the time to have a relationship with themselves. Likewise, she also offered advice on being a parent to adults. Sheryl Lee Ralph explained that always loving your children was important above all else because they needed to feel that love.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Hoda was really feeling the vibes as she tried to drop her own life advice during the segment. Her advice, however, was not well-received by viewers. Given the timing of her sudden uptick of inspirational quotes on Instagram, some wonder if Sheryl Lee Ralph may have influenced it.
