‘Today’ Fans Lash Out At Hoda Kotb Over Recent Advice
The Today Show fans are not happy with Hoda Kotb and are lashing out about some advice she’s given recently.
Two days ago, the official Instagram account for The Today Show shared a gorgeous photo of Hoda Kotb with a quote on top of it. The quote was a piece of advice about life from Hoda to the 4.4M individuals who follow the Instagram account.
Unfortunately for Hoda, the piece of advice was not well-received by those who follow the account. In fact, it resulted in many telling the talk show host to “shut up” and “sit down.”
What exactly was this piece of life advice that Hoda was giving to viewers? And, why did it bother fans of the show so much? Keep reading for the details.
Today Show: Hoda Kotb Gives Advice On Life
According to the caption, Hoda dropped some words to live by during a segment of Today with Hoda and Jenna recently. The advice came while talking to their guest, Sheryl Lee Ralph.
At the beginning of the segment, Sheryl told Hoda and Jenna what people really struggled with. They struggled with remembering how important having a relationship with themselves was. Per comments on multiple social media platforms, the advice Sheryl had to share about life was well-received.
Feeling inspired, Hoda did what she could to drop some advice of her own.
“Live isn’t about the really great thing that happened once a week or the really crummy thing that happened once. It’s about the little bits and pieces all day.”
Hoda’s advice did not receive the same kind of praise that Sheryl Lee Ralph’s did.
Today Show Viewers Lash Out, Tell Her To ‘Shut Up’
In the comments of this Instagram post, Today Show viewers were not having it. They did not believe Hoda had the right to give anyone life advice. In a comment liked just shy of a dozen times, one fan admitted they could not stand Hoda before wishing she would stop talking. Here’s what some other fans thought of Hoda’s advice on how to live life:
“Why must people tell us what life is about, you don’t know what my life is about Hoda.” One fan penned.
Another fan chimed in admitting they had no idea there were other people who didn’t like Hoda: “and here I thought the world loved her and I was on my [island].”
