On Tuesday, Netflix released a trailer for the drama-filled reunion special for Love Is Blind: After The Alter featuring Season 4’s couples and what they’ve been up to.

Ahead of the upcoming fifth season, viewers will finally get a chance to hear about all of the juicy details about Season 4’s couples. Love Is Blind: After The Altar will provide some much-needed insight into their lives after the planned live reunion special in April turned into somewhat of a disaster. Due to a technical issue, the live showing was unavailable to most viewers who tuned in.

Netflix did make the reunion available the next day. But for many, the charm of a live special was missing. Fortunately, Netflix has made up for their mishap and has put together a three-episode special season that will follow Season 4’s couples after more than a year since we last saw them.

This reunion special promises to be drama-filled

Love Is Blind: After The Altar will premiere on September 1, on Netflix. After The Alter will feature three 40-minute episodes. The drama-filled reunion special welcomes back many season 4 favorites including Tiffany Pennywell Brown and her husband Brett Brown. “Having somebody that understands me… that reassurance… I think that is beautiful,” Tiffany says as a short montage of the couple plays.

Chelsea Griffin Appiah and her husband Kwame Appiah appear to be making the most of their opportunity as a couple as well. Chelsea can be seen holding back tears in the trailer as she looked back on her time with Kwame. “I’m so proud of how far we’ve come this year.”

Later in the trailer, Bliss Poureetezadi Goytowski shared a similar sentiment about her husband Zack. “He’s literally my best friend. Our love story is just getting started.” The couple looked as if they were nothing but smiles as they lovingly looked at each other.

After The Altar won’t be all smiles and adoration. The reunion will also bring back cast mates who weren’t as lucky to find love. There seems to be quite a bit of uneasiness among those who couldn’t find their perfect match to meet at the altar.

As the trailer nears its conclusion, Marshall Glaze and Jackie Bonds appear to finally have a chance to meet face-to-face after their relationship fizzled. Marshall doesn’t seem certain of the situation as attempts to confront the tension in the air. “I have no clue what’s going on, There’s a conversation that needs to happen to move forward.”

In typical Love Is Blind fashion, After The Altar promises to be a drama-filled reunion with just the right amount of fireworks. What do you think? Will the reunion be able to pick up where Season 4 left off? Leave a comment down below and find out what others are saying.
