The series hasn’t confirmed anything yet, but this is one casting rumor making its rounds online at the moment. One thing is certain though; DWTS will indeed be back this fall and is actively searching for interested participants.
Other Beverly Hills, 90210 stars have done it before. Will this finally be Tori Spelling’s year to shine?
Rumor has it Tori Spelling is out of money and wants to return to reality TV
Right now, Tori Spelling is working out her split with Dean McDermott. According to The Daily Mail, she and her five children are hurting for money and living in an RV amid the breakup.
Reportedly, the Beverly Hills, 90210 star is hoping to step back into the spotlight and make some money for her family. But with the ongoing SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, finding work in Hollywood might be a tad difficult right now.
But that’s where Dancing With The Stars could enter the picture.
“Tori is caught between a rock and a hard place right now as she is trying to figure out what her next job is going to be because she is having some money issues,” an inside source close to Tori allegedly told The Daily Mail recently. “With the strike in full effect, she is looking into doing some more in the reality competition show world.”
On top of that, Dancing With The Stars often looks for contestants that have a compelling story to share or are currently making headlines. Plenty of Tori Spelling’s fans are eager to hear her story amid her split from Dean McDermott.
“This might finally be the year that she does the show. So many 90210 stars have done it, so she would have so much support from her former cast members,” the insider reportedly continued.
What does the DWTS Season 32 cast look like so far?
Right now, the official cast list is still pretty bare. Right now, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is the only confirmed Season 32 contestant. However, actress Gina Rodriguez has also been rumored to be part of the cast.
While the producers scout out talent, judge Derek Hough thinks it would be really fun to have several all-stars join the cast.
The pro dancers won’t find out whether or not they will return until the celebrity cast list is finalized. Hopefully, that news will come shortly.
