Erin Bates Paine and her family are hit with an unexpected loss.

As fans may know, Erin and Chad have several animals on their property in Florida. They also had animals when they lived in Tennessee. While they had to rehome a few before they moved, they still have a lovely little farm, which their kids enjoy.

On Instagram on Thursday evening, Erin Bates shared some tragic news with her followers. She put together a video to document this sad loss. Then, she spilled all of the details to fans. The soon-to-be mama of six revealed that they lost one of their goats overnight. She said, “It was a sad day at our house. A coyote got in our goat pen and killed one of our goats.”

The Bringing Up Bates star continued, “Lots of tears were shed and the kids planned a little funeral for her.”

“Goodness, there’s nothing harder than watching your kids cry,” Erin pointed out.

Of course, many of Erin Bates’ Instagram followers are heartbroken over this news. They are talking about how sad this is and sending their condolences to the family during this time. Unfortunately, plenty of their followers can relate to them after losing an animal.
