‘Y&R’ Eric Braeden Gives HUGE Cancer Update
Young And The Restless star Eric Braeden just gave a huge cancer update. Fans have been worried about him ever since he revealed that he had cancer. He shared that he wasn’t leaving the soap opera regardless, though.
Eric Braeden’s Cancer Diagnosis
When Eric Braeden first started having issues with his prostate, he was misdiagnosed. It was then discovered that he had cancer by the second doctor that he saw. Eric revealed that he was telling his story to raise awareness about this so everyone would get checked. Braeden revealed that he was still feeling pretty good and was going through a six-week infusion process.

Eric Braeden Shares Huge Update
Eric Braden is now sharing a huge update about his cancer and it is good news for the Young And The Restless star. He went to Facebook live and shared a video revealing that he is cancer free. This is great news from Eric. Here is what he had to say about it all.
“The reason I want to talk to you tonight is I want to tell you I’m grateful [for] all of your good thoughts and your prayers. It’s meant a great deal to me, and I can tell you it obviously has helped, because I had my last cystoscopy two days ago — that’s when they thread a camera into your bladder — and I’m cancer-free. They couldn’t find a damn thing. Isn’t that nice?”
He isn’t done with treatment just yet, though. Eric Braeden had to get a MRI to see if the cancer has spread and he is waiting on those results. He will continue to get checked. Eric Braeden shared saying, “And then I should be free for a while. Every so often, every few months, I’ll have another cystoscopy, all to find the damn thing early and to fight it. To hell with it.”
He went on to thank fans for their prayers and thoughts. Eric said that it has obviously helped. Things are looking great for the soap opera star now that he is cancer free.
