Talk show hostess Kelly Ripa is sharing a new update with her followers involving the future of her career. What’s going on with her?
The Live hostess has missed many episodes over the summer, leading some to believe that she has something new in the works.
Although Kelly admits her latest adventure has been a big adjustment, she’s incredibly proud of her achievement. And now, it’s nearly time to share her project with the world.

Kelly Ripa shares an exciting move with her Live audience members
Kelly Ripa is definitely one busy woman! She loves hosting Live with Kelly and Mark with her spouse, but that’s not stopping her from pursuing other projects in the meantime.
Many Live fans know that Kelly Ripa published her memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories back in 2022. Now, it seems like there’s an exciting update regarding her book!
This week, the 52-year-old actress revealed that her book is coming out in paperback soon, after only being available in hardcover.
“So, you have to go through the nightmare of promoting the book again,” Kelly announced during an episode of Live this week. Her husband and cohost Mark Consuelos seemed surprised about the revelation.
“They expect you to go out and promote your paperback, so I thought I’d get a jump on it right now,” Kelly shared with the studio crowd, further revealing she hoped that this would count toward her press obligations. “Because it’s exhausting.”
The process may certainly be exhausting, but it will likely be well worth it in the end. Fans that are interested in getting a copy of the paperback will need to stay tuned for more.
The actress is also juggling a plethora of other projects too
The book project is definitely exciting, but it’s not the only thing Kelly Ripa has been working on. She also has several other obligations in addition to her Live with Kelly and Mark hosting duties.
She also hosts the game show, Generation Gap, where grandparents and grandchildren compete to answer pop culture questions. And of course, she and Mark Consuelos have a family together.
Although many Live fans found the pretaped episodes aggravating, Mark and Kelly both expressed their need for some downtime. Fans remain hopeful that there will be more live episodes as summer winds down and transitions into fall.
