Former Counting On star Jill Dillard is sharing proof of her huge transformation and showing her followers just how far she’s come. She’s been through many changes over the past several years. While she’s kept part of the process quiet, she’s also opened up here and there along the way. Now, she’s proving to her fans that she’s not the same person she was growing up. Who is Jill now, and how has she changed?
The Duggar daughter has come a long way.
If you watched Jill on her family’s TLC shows, 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On, you probably know that she was very involved in the IBLP and their other strict beliefs. Over the past several years, however, she’s made a lot of progress. She’s deconstructed away from the IBLP’s harmful teachings while maintaining her faith as a Christian.
A lot of her changes have been visible to fans. For example, she pierced her nose, uses birth control to space out her pregnancies, and shows more skin than ever before.
Now, Jill is offering further proof of her transformation.

On her Instagram Stories on Monday, Jill Dillard kicked off the new week with a funny clip. She re-shared a post from MGM+ on Instagram, which includes a short clip from My Cousin Vinny. She added a couple of comments, noting that it’s one of her “fave movies.” So, this seems to prove that she’s watched the movie and enjoyed it.
Now, it’s worth noting that this movie is rated R. Of. course, Jill is 32 years old, and she’s certainly mature enough to watch something like this. However, it’s only additional proof that she’s departed from her parents’ strict rules.
Growing up, Jill was not allowed to watch TV or movies. So, it’s a huge change for her to go from not watching any TV shows or movies to watching an R-rated movie.

Because Jill posted this on her Instagram Stories, fans must message her to reply to her post. So, there’s no way to know how her followers reacted unless she decides to share their responses publicly.
Duggar fans are intrigued by Jill’s journey and are looking forward to what lies ahead for her. She’s come a long way, but she doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Hopefully, she will continue to document this transformation on social media. In addition, she published a book, Counting the Cost, which further details her journey. It hits shelves next month.
