Real Reason 3 ‘GMA’ Fan Favorites Were Missing

What is the real reason why three GMA (Good Morning America) favorites were missing on Friday, August 4th? As some have mentioned, they will go missing one or two at a time. Yet, it is very rare that Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos will all be absent on the same day. That happened with no warning or reason why. They did have great fill-ins but it still was not the same. So, where were they? Read on for more details.

Real Reason 3 GMA Fan Favorites Were Missing

When three of the GMA fan favorites were not there on Friday, it was shocking. Yes, they will be absent one or two at a time but it is rare for all three to be gone. More so, it is rare that there is no real reason for their absence. There was some speculation as to where they may have been but nothing solid. In their places were Eva Pilgrim, Whit Johnson, and Rebecca Jarvis. Of course, fans do like them which is why they come back whenever someone is out. This is the same thing with Al Roker’s wife, Deborah Roberts who fills in when need be.

Yet, what was the reason for the GMA trifecta’s absence? According to Meaww, fans have grown to see the anchors take turns being absent. Last fall, Michael Strahan went missing from time to time whereas Robin Roberts takes Fridays off. It can be unpredictable but at least there are two there for viewers to awake to. So, again, why did all three go MIA at once? It seems that there is no clear-cut answer right now. Maybe Monday, August 7th, they will further explain it but there is just speculation.

Robin Roberts, as aforementioned, tends to take Fridays off but she is also planning her wedding to her longtime partner. They are said to be tying the knot in the very near future. Michael Strahan was at the Hungarian Grand Prix and was fixated on that so this was where his attention was being directed. Finally, George Stephanopoulos is Emmy-nominated with his wife, Ali Wentworth for the documentary, Pretty Baby. So, all three have other passions aside from GMA.

Fans Love Them

It is clear that fans do love the three anchors on GMA together. One had this to say: “i enjoy watching GMA with all three and it will not be the same without all three together.” Another noted that they would miss Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos more than anything. Hopefully, they will just take breaks and nothing more than that.
