Music and talent mogul Simon Cowell has reportedly been confirmed dead at the age of 63. Or, at least that is what the latest celebrity death hoax wants the Internet to believe. Turns out, the former American Idol judge is just the latest to be killed via a celebrity death hoax. And, as those who follow Simon Cowell know, this isn’t his first rodeo making headlines for being dead.

As TV Shows Ace reported back in April of this year, Simon Cowell also made headlines for being dead. Likewise, he was also hospitalized and “lucky to be alive” in February of last year following an e-bike accident.

The question fans of the America’s Got Talent judge have is simple: Where did the death hoax originate from this time? Moreover, is Simon Cowell alright?

Keep reading as TV Shows Ace gets to the bottom of the latest celebrity death hoax.

Simon Cowell Killed In Death Hoax Again

According to Vera Files, there are concerning photos of Simon Cowell looking pretty banged up in a hospital bed on Facebook. The photos include a tagline alluding to the fact that Simon Cowell is dead. The taglines, however, do not reveal much information and include “see more” which is hyperlinked to a news article to get all the info.

Fortunately, fans of the music mogul can rest easy knowing this is nothing more than a hoax. The photos making rounds are NOT new photos of Simon. And, there aren’t any credible sources reporting he has passed away.

Why Is He Such A Frequent Target?

Now, Simon Cowell has been killed by a death hoax at least twice this year. So, many of his fans are wondering why he is such a frequent target. Turns out, the answer is relatively simple. He is such a frequent target because he is an easy target. A death hoax is more believable when it includes concerning photos of the celebrity.

Simon Cowell has been in several e-bike accidents that resulted in being hospitalized. So, there are some pretty banged-up photos of Simon floating around the Internet that anyone can access. These concerning photos attached to a tagline claiming Simon has passed away just make the story more believable.

Unfortunately, this is also why singing sensation Celine Dion was an easy target for a recent death hoax. It is well-known that she is currently struggling with her health. So, it is easier for individuals on the Internet to buy into a hoax that she may have passed away.

Sadly, celebrity death hoaxes are an extremely common form of clickbait that some people create for the purpose of quickly driving a lot of traffic to a specific article, social media page, or YouTube video.

Are you relieved to know Simon Cowell is still alive? Have you seen the claims he has passed away making rounds on Facebook? Let us know your thoughts in the comments down below. And, keep coming back for more TV news.
