Tammy Slaton Dressed In Short Black Dress For Caleb Funeral
Tammy Slaton seems delighted to have shed so much weight and for the first time in many years, she was able to wear a short dress. It came on the occasion of the funeral that she held for her husband Caleb Willingham. Until recently, TLC fans only ever saw the 1000-Lb Sisters star wearing long dresses or very large pants.

The news that the TLC star went to fetch Caleb’s ashes leaked ahead of the funeral that took place at the end of the month. Although she filed for divorce, as it hadn’t yet been finalized, she was considered the legal wife of the big man. Apparently, with the help of her brother, she drove to Ohio to collect the ashes with the plan being a quiet, intimate funeral in Kentucky. Hopefully, it gave the TLC star some closure.
Some people feared that TLC might exploit the pain of Tammy Slaton for footage for Season 5 of the show. While it’s not clear whether they will include scenes of it in the next season, apparently, the film crew was thought to be present. That could explain why Amy Halterman and her sister didn’t post up photos of the family who gathered to say their farewells to her departed husband.

Tammy Slaton Lost So Much Weight
The Sun obtained photos of the family as they gathered for the funeral of Caleb. The outlet described the dress that the TLC star wore as a “black mini-dress.” She had her hair done in bright red, a new cheerier look that she adopted recently. Comfortable shoes helped her navigate her way to the car and then down to the water where they held the ceremony. There was no oxygen tube, and fans will be happy to hear that she walked that far without any help.
Tammy Slaton clearly lost a lot of weight almost 400 lbs and 1000-Lb Sisters fans can’t wait to see her lose the excess skin on her body. In the photos that were shown, which you can view HERE, fans could see a lot of that skin hangs down and makes it awkward for her mobility. Even so, it’s not clear that the show will show any skin surgery. Bear in mind, the larger woman damaged her health, and there could be skin infection risks with the actual surgery.
Staying Strong
Tammy Slaton needs to stay strong now that she said her final farewell to her love. Although they split, she clearly loved him a lot. Actually, she could so easily slide backward now that she suffered from deep personal loss. In the past, she turned to her food addiction to help her cope. However, it seems that for the first time in a long, time, she finally realized the value of winning instead of losing. Plenty of her fans send her lots of loving support on social media.
