‘GMA’ Robin Roberts Confirms Her Impending Wedding

Good Morning America host Robin Roberts has confirmed her impending wedding.

When she’s not in the studio sharing the morning’s news, Robin is spending time with her fiance, Amber Laign. Or she’s on social media, spreading positive vibes. In a recent #GlamFam video on Instagram, Robin was able to combine her two favorite things into one. And she provided some news about her impending nuptials. Robin Slipped Into Something A Little More Comfortable

Before slipping into a video to share news of her wedding, Robin Roberts slipped into something a little more comfortable.

She is known for being friendly with fans outside of the studio. And that’s exactly what happened when some fans from Nebraska asked the GMA host to pose with them on the sidewalk outside of the studio. The people she posed with tweeted the picture and thanked her for being nice enough to take the time to take a photograph with them. In the picture, Robin is wearing a cream-colored slim-fit dress with red, orange, and green stripes.

But it was Robin’s footwear that occasioned the most comment. Instead of her usual heels, Robin was rocking a pair of black bedroom slippers with smiley-face emojis on them. Robin acknowledged the unusual footwear on Twitter in response to the fan post. She thanked them for taking a pic with her, adding “Nice to meet you!” She then quipped, “You caught me in my comfy slippers!”

And Robin Roberts returned to social media this week with a video that has fans buzzing about her big wedding plans. Or rather, a comment under the video. She uploaded a video to Instagram and captioned it, “Good morning! #GlamFam & I are small but mighty this morn!” She added that it wouldn’t stop them from sharing some “#WednesdayWisdom.”

An excited fan wanted to get wedding details out of the GMA host. In the comments of the video, they wrote, “August brides? Love you RR!” And Robin replied. While she was still holding some things close to her chest, she answered, “Not August, but you’re close!” Robin included a winking emoji. The fan then noted that there are only four months left in the year if August isn’t the big wedding month. While Robin didn’t reply to that remark, it’s worth noting.

That means Robin’s wedding is inching closer, and will arrive before fans know it. Quite literally, if the shroud of secrecy continues.
