‘Live’ Kelly Ripa Fans Heartbroken Over Star’s Recent Post

Kelly Brings The Giggles

Yesterday, Kelly Ripa showed that it’s hard to make her take anything seriously.

She shared what was supposed to be a mindful meditation video with producers Jan Schilley Wiener and Albert Bianchini. But Kelly and Jan caught a serious case of the giggles. A long-suffering Albert told Kelly to “Be quiet!” But eventually, he couldn’t help himself and gave into their contagious laughter. Eventually, he flipped the bird at the troublesome pair as they posed in helmets.

Kelly and Albert both shared the behind-the-scenes meditation fail to social media. Kelly captioned it, “#MeditationMonday minus the meditation.”

Live Fans Heartbroken After Kelly Ripa Shares Recent Post Lamenting A Loss

But all isn’t laughter in Kelly Ripa‘s world. She recently shared a post lamenting the terrible loss of someone who meant a lot to her.

Paul Reubens passed away this week. Better known to fans as Pee-wee Herman, he oversaw a silly childhood for several generations of children of all ages. As Pee-wee, Paul encouraged people to embrace their silly inner child. Paul died this week at the age of 70 after a six-year battle with cancer. After his passing, someone shared a letter from Paul to his fans on social media. It read, “Please accept my apology for not going public with what I’ve been facing the last six years.” He added that he “always felt a huge amount of love and respect from my friends, fans and supporters.” The message concluded, “I have loved you all so much and enjoyed making art for you.”

And Kelly Ripa shared her own thoughts on the loss of Paul Reubens. On Monday, she shared an old picture of herself with her arm around Paul’s shoulder. And in another picture, she offered a cheesy grin as she posed next to Paul who was dressed in his Pee-wee costume. She captioned the photos, “This man was kinder, funnier and more thoughtful than most. #RIP Paul Reubens @peeweeherman.”

Fans went to the comments to share their heartbreak. One wrote, “Thank you Kelly for honouring such a human.” Another fan thanked Kelly for sharing the pic and added, ” He was treated poorly by the public and deserved more respect as a comedic genius- may he RIP.” Yet another wrote, “Underrated and wrongfully (as the usual) ostracized. RIP.”
