Former Counting On star and Duggar grandson Spurgeon Seewald has made a rare appearance for a very special occasion. Though his parents have been quiet online, he did finally pop up this weekend. How old is Spurgeon Seewald now?
Ben and Jessa have four kids, Spurgeon, 7, Henry, 6, Ivy, 4, and Fern, 2. The Duggar couple is usually fairly active on Instagram and YouTube. They often share photos and videos of their kids and document life’s ups and downs. But they haven’t posted much this summer. So, fans haven’t gotten a lot of updates on their four kids.
Spurgeon will celebrate his eighth birthday in November 2023. As he gets older, he’s hitting many big milestones.
Though Jessa and Ben are currently silent on social media, another family member made sure to capture Spurgeon’s latest accomplishment.
Jessa & Ben Seewald’s oldest son finally resurfaces.
On her Instagram Stories this weekend, Danielle Seewald, Ben’s sister, shared a new post about Spurgeon. In the photo, Ben can be seen baptizing Spurgeon at church. While sharing the photo with her followers, she gushed over her brother and nephew, pointing out how it was an adorable “father and son” moment.
Ben is a pastor, so he had the opportunity to baptize his own son. He was ordained as a pastor a little over two years ago. He’s the pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas. Of course, not every parent has the chance to baptize their own children, so this was a very exciting and special moment for the Duggar son-in-law.
So far, Ben and Jessa Seewald haven’t returned to social media to share their son’s big news with the world. They typically share their family’s special news, but they aren’t posting much right now. No other members of the Seewald or Duggar families have posted about Spurgeon’s baptism.
But whenever they do come back to social media, they may let their followers know about Spurgeon’s baptism. They may have additional pictures or a video to share when they are ready to come back to Instagram. So, fans should be on the lookout for more details about this very special occasion.
