Hallmark Movies & Mysteries has announced a new movie called The More Love Grows. This drama stars Rachel Boston (SEAL Team, A Christmas Cookie Catastrophe), and Warren Christie (The Watchful Eye, Crashing Through The Snow). This is the story of a woman whose life is turned upside down. She is blindsided and taken by surprise.

Yet, finding her own inner strength, she has figured out how to pivot. Most of all, she has learned to love and trust herself again.

What Is Hallmark’s The More Love Grows About?

Here is a new movie about how a setback can help you move forward in life. What is The More Love Grows about? According to the Hallmark synopsis, Helen is anxious because she and her husband Paul (Patrick Gilmore) are dropping off their only child, daughter Aly (Roan Curtis) to her freshman college dorm.

The goodbye tears have not even dried when her husband blindsides Helen. He wants a separation. Paul is ready for a fresh start and thinks this is the perfect time for it as they no longer have to take care of their daughter.

Shocked, Helen doesn’t even know what to do. She was already preparing for the adjustment of an empty house. Now, she is single. Her husband has moved on. Helen does not know how to be single. Serendipitously, she finds a cute stray dog. He is parked on her front step.

Helen decides to bring this fluffster inside. Also, she decides to name him Elmer. She does this because “he sticks to her like glue.” These are two decisions she has been able to make after weeks of indecision. Most of all, Elmer is the best decision she has ever made. He is a warm companion. Elmer gives her unconditional love. Most of all, she no longer feels alone. She has a constant companion.

However, Helen is a first-time dog owner. Therefore, she meets veterinarian Ben, who helps guide her with this new ownership. This guidance seeps into her personal life. Helen has found herself going down a new and unexpected path.

Best of all, she has found her confidence. Helen sees her future as promising and is open to all possibilities. This also includes love. Did Elmer bring her and Ben together? Maybe. This unexpected bonus has made her once again believe that anything is possible.

When Will The More Love Grows Premiere?

The premiere of The More Love Grows is on Friday, August 11, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In addition, The More Love Grows will be available on Peacock up to 72 hours after the premiere.
