Kate Gosselin’s Children Humiliated By Recent Interviews
Insiders claim that Kate Gosselin‘s other six children felt completely humiliated when Collin and Hannah decided to speak with the press about their childhoods.
Jon and Kate Gosselin divorced years ago, but their family is back in the headline these days after recent interviews and allegations. The VICE TV interview Jon & Kate Plus 8: Family Circus brought the family back to the forefront of reality TV news. And now that all the children are adults, they’re telling their own stories.
Collin and Hannah claim that Kate Gosselin demonstrated abusive behavior at times. But the other six children may not necessarily feel the same way.
Most of Kate Gosselin’s kids allegedly hate the attention
Collin and Hannah Gosselin might feel comfortable speaking up about their past, but most of Kate Gosselin’s kids are unhappy about the recent interviews. After leaving the spotlight and reality TV, most of the kids just want to live a quiet life.
In fact, reports indicate that the other kids wish Collin and Hannah wouldn’t have spoken up at all. They’re not all happy that their family is back in the public eye.
“The kids who live with Kate haven’t had much contact with Collin and his sister Hannah since they went to live with Jon [Gosselin],” an insider allegedly told Us Weekly. “It’s safe to say they won’t now after this doc.”
The insider went on to say that the other children weren’t interested in fame or attention. They reportedly are completely embarrassed that Collin and Hannah chose to speak up about their home lives.
Kate had full custody of twins Mady and Cara, 22, as well as the remaining sextuplets, Aaden, Joel, Alexis, and Leah, 19. Collin and Hannah went to live with their father Jon.
No one can know for sure how the children feel until they speak up for themselves. But that may not happen if they’re truly embarrassed by all the attention.
Collin Gosselin speaks out against his mother on television
During Collin’s interview with VICE TV, he alluded that his mother mistreated him while he was under her care.
“Well, yeah. That’s kind of the reason why she sent me away,” Collin continued when asked to elaborate. “I was starting to tell people what was going on at home, and she caught wind of that and had to put me somewhere where I wouldn’t be able to get the secrets out.”
Hannah went on to back up Collin’s claims and said that Kate Gosselin frequently separated him from the rest of the family. Eventually, she had him institutionalized until Jon gained custody of him.
Although Mady often defends her family, most of the other children have largely kept quiet about the situation. Time will tell if they decide to come out with their own stories.
