Back when Ysabel Brown was preparing to have surgery on her back, there was a statement made about concerns for the nasty back scar the surgery would result in. More specifically, there was a concern for how this nasty scar might ruin Ysabel’s look in a wedding dress, a prom dress, or even a bathing suit during a trip to the beach.
For years, Kody Brown caught all sorts of heat from Sister Wives fans who assumed it was him that made the comment. Turns out, the TLC series did shape the narrative to make it seem as though it was Kody who made the comment about how a nasty scar could really ruin things for Ysabel.
Shockingly, Sister Wives fans are now learning that it was never Kody Brown who made this nasty comment. During a recent episode of the Surviving Sister Wives podcast, Christine Brown revealed the truth. It wasn’t Kody who made the comments about the nasty back scar. It was actually her.
Christine Brown proceeded to support the narrative that both Gwendlyn and Mykelti have been trying to tell the world. Their father wasn’t that bad of a guy. He just got a serious “bad guy” edit from TLC to make their show more exciting to watch.
Mykelti Padron Recently Defended Her Father
Mykelti Padron recently defended her father against the bad guy edit as well. She insisted that Kody got so much heat for his treatment of Janelle, but no one was looking at it from his side. Mykelti pointed out that Kody loved Janelle. But, he had just had his heart broken by Christine, and Janelle (his wife) was still best friends with Christine.
Mykelti explained it was heartbreaking for Kody to watch his wife spend time with his ex-wife. And, she believed that was a side of the story that people just weren’t looking at.
