Jon & Collin Gosselin Sued By Victims Of Horrific Car Crashes
Collin Gosselin and his dad, Jon were joined by Hannah on VICE TV’s docuseries, Dark Side of the 2000s, and Collin mentioned a car accident. However, he didn’t say that both he and his dad faced lawsuits by victims involved in more than one accident.
Collin Gosselin Complained About His Mom After A Car Crash
During his many bombshells on VICE TV, the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star (19) discussed how his mom sent him away to an institution. Briefly, he and his dad, Jon revealed that allegedly, the whole time he was in a psychiatric hospital, Kate only saw her son “three times.” Sadly, he described his experience as being “lost.” At the same time, he also mentioned that more recently, after a car accident, his mom didn’t reach out to him. Now, it appears that the troubled young man had more than one car accident.
Collin Gosselin shared a few photos of his car on social media and clearly, he’s a young man who likes the freedom behind the wheel. And why not? Judging by his tale of separation from his sextuplets and twin siblings, he had a rather sad life. Additionally, being incarcerated for three years probably made him relish being able to get out and about with his friends. Unfortunately, though, several accidents happened and there were victims.
Collin Gosselin Isn’t The First TLC Star Sued By Victims
If you cast your mind back to 2019, Sister Wives patriarch, Kody Brown was sued along with his son, Paedon. The word arrived that Christine’s son rear-ended a car in Las Vegas. Later, it turned out that it hit Kody hard in the pocket and the claimants were awarded the win. With court costs, the TLC star ended up paying close to $30K. At the time, Paedon drove his dad’s car.
Like Kody. Jon owned the car that Collin Gosselin drove, and The Ashley’s Reality RoundUp reported, “Collin was hit with back-to-back lawsuits in May for two car accidents he caused over the past few years, with Jon being added to one lawsuit as a co-defendant.” Allegedly, the kid, 17 at the time, drove at an excessive speed and moved into an incorrect lane. In that case, the victim claimed loss of earnings and “great pain and suffering” from many injuries.
A Second Lawsuit From Horrific Crash
Collin Gosselin and his father also face another similar lawsuit. Filed in late May, the outlet noted that “[A] grocery store and its insurance company (the Plaintiffs) claim that Collin caused a car accident in November 2022 that allegedly caused “substantial damage” to the grocery store’s tractor trailer.”
When the former Jon & Kate Plus 8 star mentioned his mom didn’t care about his crash, he talked on Dark Side of the 2000s about falling “asleep” at the wheel. Well, the second lawsuit pertains to that. In that case, if Jon and his lose the lawsuits, it could be very expensive. Just the second one might cost about $25K.
