In particular, Amber and Trent get a lot of backlash from viewers due to their frequent inappropriate innuendo and their treatment of their kids.
Liz Johnston has also been criticized by viewers for how she treats her family and the way she seems to take after Amber. Fans don’t seem to mind the rest of the family most of the time.
Now, the 7 Little Johnstons stars are under fire for a choice they have made multiple times. Fans are certainly disappointed.
TLC viewers express disapproval and serious concern, why?
On Reddit this week, a fan posted that they are watching older episodes of 7 Little Johnstons. They noticed that the Johnstons seemingly don’t have their French Bulldog, Louie, anymore. The viewer wrote, “Nothing was explained about the disappearance of the Frenchie on the show after they moved into their new house. There was a whole episode dedicated to their stray cat dying from a broken femur… but not a word about Louie.”
The Reddit user also called out the family and TLC for failing to address Louie’s disappearance.
According to Monsters and Critics, Amber previously informed her Instagram followers that they had rehomed Louie. She said, “Louie did not take the move well at all. He became a ‘bit’ aggressive with the other animals, Trent, and he was not behaving well in the house. We found him an awesome home on a farm close by with another Frenchie!!”
Unfortunately, fans noticed that this isn’t the first time that a 7 Little Johnstons pet has seemingly disappeared. One Reddit user said, “I don’t know, but they seem to have a habit of getting an animal and then it disappears. Liz had a cat and a dog and neither one of them are still with her.”
Fans hope the family will start considering their pet purchases and adoptions more thoroughly moving forward.
