Over the past couple of seasons, Elizabeth has been through a few big life events, from focusing on her education and career to moving forward in her relationship with Brice Bolden.
Now, fans have noticed a much smaller change that’s still raised eyebrows and gotten them talking.
What’s the odd detail about Elizabeth Johnston that fans noticed?
On Reddit this week, a fan pointed out an interesting detail they noticed about Elizabeth. They asked, “Anyone notice that Liz ‘plays up’ the southern accent when around Brice?”
Then, the 7 Little Johnstons viewer added, “Any other time (like when she lived with her parents before Brice was in the picture) she really didn’t have that thick of an accent!”
The original poster went on to argue that something strange is going on there. The fan said, “It’s weird bc sometimes she has the accent and other times she doesn’t.”
While some fans seem to think it’s strange, others agree that it isn’t as sudden or strange as it might appear. Someone explained, “She could be picking it up from him subconsciously. He has a thick accent (I think anyway), so when she’s around him she may be picking it up.” Another fan added that it’s likely due to Brice being in her environment. Plus, where she lives, many other people might have accents as well.
