Bringing Up Bates fans became seriously concerned as they watched Trace Bates take a big risk. He took to social media to reveal what he’s done, leaving his fans in shock and awe. His mama, Kelly Jo Bates, weighed in on this potentially dangerous decision as well. What is he doing now? Read on to find out.
One reason fans are especially worried about Trace taking risks is that his wife, Lydia, is expecting their first baby. So, his followers think he should be extra careful not to seriously injure himself with a baby due in September. However, others don’t think it’s such a big deal after all.
Trace Bates takes a big risk.
On his Instagram page, Trace recently shared a new video with fans, revealing the latest risk he’s taken. He went skydiving and filmed the adventure so fans could be a part of the action! He shared a short video that began with him jumping out of the helicopter and ended with him landing safely on the ground. Despite taking this risk, all ended up okay and he was not injured in the process.
He said it’s one of his “favorite things to do.” And from the video, it looks like his brother, Lawson Bates, joined in the fun.

In the comments section of Trace’s post, his fans are weighing in. And some are seriously concerned for his safety. They fear he will hurt himself going skydiving. One of his followers said, “No definitely not an accident waiting to happen every time you risk your life. It only takes one error.”
Someone else brought up religion and mentioned what God might think of people risking their lives like this. They said, “For me personally I don’t think God would want me to risk my life.”
Trace’s mom chimed in and said, “Not this Mama!! 😍 but I’m proud of you!!”
However, plenty of others are loving seeing his adventurous side. They think it’s great that he’s so brave and that he’s willing to take these risks. He certainly seems to be enjoying himself and living his best life. Others are interested in learning more about the amazing camera he used to capture this daredevil footage.
