There are many changes in the Waldrop family’s life as the kids just keep growing up. And with nine kids, there are lots of emotions. This fall, the sextuplets are heading off to kindergarten, which will bring many exciting firsts as well as hurdles in their way. Hopefully, Courtney will keep her followers up to date via Instagram. Without the show still on TLC, fans certainly appreciate the social media updates.
Now, as the Waldrop sextuplets prepare to begin kindergarten, Courtney is offering fans a bittersweet glimpse into the future.

In a new Instagram post on Thursday, the Sweet Home Sextuplets mama revealed that her sextuplets had recently had their photos taken by her friend, Courtney Neill Williams. She’s a photographer and has taken pictures of the Waldrop family in the past. This time, she had an incredible idea to take tux and drape photos of the kids, just like their high school will do when they begin their senior year. Rivers, Rawlings, and Rayne posed in glamorous black velvet with pearl necklaces, while Blu, Tag, and Layke wore little tuxedos.
In her post, Courtney Waldrop said she’s looking forward to comparing these photos to the kids’ senior pictures in the future. The mama of nine said, “When she sent these to me today I almost cried!! Before I know it they will really be graduating from High School and we’ll be saying ‘Remember when we had these done when y’all were just 5 years old.'”
She then admitted that “time is a thief.” However, Courtney pointed out that she also “looks forward to ‘what’s to come'” despite missing the old days. She’s in shock thinking about the kids starting kindergarten so soon.
Below, you can take a look at the special photos taken of the sextuplets. In a comment, the mama said it makes her “sad” to think about the kids growing up, but she’s happy she had this photo shoot.
