In an unexpected move, CBS is bringing SEAL Team back this fall. This is a schedule change due to the WGA, and SAG-AFTRA strikes. When should fans of the series expect to watch the series that stars David Boreanaz?

Also, what is the latest news on Season 7 and the SEAL Team movie? Here is the latest news.

CBS Brings Back SEAL Team For Fall Scheduling

This week, Deadline reported that SEAL Team is returning this fall to CBS. Due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, the network found the need to rework their schedule. That means the popular military show is returning to linear tv, along with the top cable series Yellowstone.

Previously, the series was on CBS for the first four seasons, then it went to Paramount +. Therefore, it makes sense that this fall, CBS will begin with Season 5. However, all six seasons will still be available to stream on Paramount+.

When Is SEAL Team Season 7 Premiering On Paramount+?

Back in January, Paramount+ announced that they would renew SEAL Team for Season 7. It appeared that the popular military series would return in the fall of 2023 with another 10 episodes.

However, the latest news did not mention the seventh season whatsoever. Moreover, it is not clear if they have filmed the new season. They may have put a pause on production when the writers went on strike. On the other hand, if the scripts were ready, they could have filmed until last week.

If that should be the case, Paramount+ may decide to wait to make any sort of premiere announcements for a later time. Right now, they have quite a few series in limbo, including Yellowstone, 1923, and other Taylor Sheridan-created series due to the strikes.

When the strikes are resolved, there will be a backlog. Most likely, a trickle of series will slowly start to get cranked out as the prolific Sheridan is the main showrunner for about a dozen of Paramount’s series. That means other series will be very important for Paramount’s programming.

What About The SEAL Team Movie?

Fans of the series have also been awaiting news on the SEAL Team movie. Again, just like Season 7, the network is mum. Again, there seems to be a delay due to the strikes.

SEAL Team fans, will you be watching Season 5 on CBS this fall?

    1. I already pay enough to watch Comcast and Bullshit TV, why should I pay for Paramunot +, as always it is about the Benjamins $$$$$.

    1. I don’t know about season 5 and 6 we would just love to watch season 3 and 4! What has happened to them. I am fed up of paying for a channel that keeps stopping you from watching a series from beginning to end.

    2. new season is off to a very bad start. constant blurring out whatever “bad” words are said. this is not children’s show. makes no sense and is not necessary. the fans of the show aren’t looking to watch a bunch of boy scouts

  1. We can’t even see series3 let alone 5 and 6. What the hell is going on with paramount, this isn’t the first time they have done this and I am getting sick and tired of paying out good money for bad.
