‘My Strange Addiction‘ 2023 Update: Where Is Nathaniel Now?
My Strange Addiction premiered on TLC in 1010, and the five seasons that followed showcased people like Nathaniel with some very odd obsessions. The network’s well known for bringing viewers some of the strangest people and Nathaniel was recently revisited to find out where he’s at now.
My Strange Addiction – Nathaniel Was The Real Beal Odd-Ball
Sometimes, TLC fans just can’t get over the extremes that people will go to. One show that comes to mind immediately, is Extreme sisters. Often, the behavior of the cast almost seems almost incestuous, so fans wonder if it’s actually faked for TV. However, with the strange obsession show, there were experts around to help understand the oddly strange behavior of the cast.
My Strange Addiction was very strange, indeed. And yet, it’s really not much odder than the couples seen in shows like I Love A Mama’s Boy. Actually, thinking about odd couples, the network managed to find some extreme trainwreck relationships for 90 Day Fiance, as well. Do they employ a specialist who hunts down people like Nathaniel, who a decade ago, seemed to be one of the most out-there people in the country?

My Strange Addiction: Still Addicted? What Was Nathaniel’s Obsession?
In 2021, the show started to revisit people with an obsession with objects. For example. there was a woman who actually married a carnival ride. Oh yeah, she also felt quite passionate about trains. One guy couldn’t live without inflatable orcas and he really seemed passionate about a dragon that he name Leila. Extremely passionate, was Nathaniel. If you don’t know, he just adored his car named Chase. Dare we say it? He was fond of making out with the bumper.
My Strange Addiction revealed that Nathaniel fell head-over-heels in love with Chase. Actually, if someone had stolen his set of wheels, it would probably have gotten him just about dead. Imagine if someone stole your beloved partner, whether human or canine. Some people know exactly how that feels. But has Nathaniel moved on? Did he cheat on Chase? Read on to find out.
Did Things Change By 2023?
My Strange Addiction: Still Addicted? airs on Wednesdays and a recent teaser on Instagram revealed that Chase is longer part of Nathaniel’s life. Actually, there were tears and grief and Nathaniel appeared to be heartbroken as he recalled those sweet loving days. In his confessional, he said, “Unfortunately, Chase is no longer part of my life.” A tragedy happened because Chase met with unfortunate circumstances during a regular “checkup.” Some sort of accident totaled the car, and Nathaniel remembers him “every day.”
Has he gotten over falling in love with objects? Well, the answer is no. In fact, he’s found a new car and this time, he swapped genders. It’s a girl car and he likes to talk to her and fondle her door.
