Joey McIntyre Talks About Role In Lifetime Mini-Series
Before the SAG-AFTRA strike, Joey McIntyre spoke to TV Line about his character Michael Sutton. When Dawn met the charismatic singing teacher, she thought he was everything. Dawn believed he was rich, and successful, and that he loved her.
The NKOTB member revealed that this was a “different world.” Now, an older man taking advantage of a younger woman would be reckoned with. However, he does insist that his character was not all bad.
Michael was not a great guy, and he really was self-centered and was only thinking of himself. But in those moments, he really did believe that he loved her and wanted to share his life with her.
In the third movie, Dawn has to reckon with the aftermath of this toxic relationship.
