‘Claim To Fame’: How Jane’s Aunt Prepped Her For The Show
How did former Season 2 Claim To Fame contestant Jane’s aunt help prepare her for the show? Monday, July 10th was Jane’s last episode but it was not entirely her fault. Since she was sent home, her celebrity relative was finally revealed and she was really an enigma all along. So what got her kicked off, who is she related to, and how did this family member help her out? Read on for more details.
Claim To Fame: How Jane’s Aunt Prepped Her For The Show
Jane really was a tough nut to crack on Claim To Fame. She looks nothing like her celebrity relative yet she does have a lot of musical talent and personality. That should have been a big clue right there. In the third episode, she was trying desperately to figure out who Chris was related to. Monay and Shayne gave her the clue that they had and led her down a path of believing something that was untrue. Essentially, they played dirty to get Jane eliminated and they won.
She guessed that he was related to Elvis Presley but that was not his Claim To Fame. That meant that Jane was eliminated and her celebrity relative was revealed. It just so happened to be who TV Shows Ace guessed all along. None other than country music icon, Dolly Parton. She came on the screen to tell her niece, real name Jada Star, how proud she was of her. In fact, Dolly had actually named Jada when she was born and it was just a sweet story. Jane opened up to Distractify about everything including how Aunt Dolly prepared her.
As it turns out, Dolly Parton gave her beloved niece some words of wisdom before entering the Claim To Fame home. Jane shared this about Dolly: “She was so supportive and excited for me. She told me to be myself, always. She also told me to call her and she would come get me if I got too homesick.” Furthermore, she noted that her aunt has not changed at all since she was little and has always been so supportive.

Jane was very lucky as she did get to perform at her aunt’s famed Dollywood. However, the Claim To Fame alum will be releasing a solo single despite being part of a duo with her best guy friend. It seems that she inherited her aunt’s musical talents and fun-loving personality. She admitted that she did not think she would make it as far as she did, three episodes, but at least she did not have a meltdown like Carly Reeves did in episode one. Jane handled leaving with dignity and grace.
