‘OnlyFans’ & ‘Jeopardy!’ Collide: Viewers Aren’t Feeling It

Jeopardy! likes to have fun with its format, even if some fans aren’t willing to share the joke. This happened when a recent episode had a category called “Only Fans” and many Jeopardy! fans didn’t like the pun, even though the category was completely G-rated.

Here is a look at the “Only Fans” category and what fans had to say about it.

Jeopardy! has an “Only Fans” category

Jeopardy! often likes to use puns to add humor to its categories. It remains a good way to lighten up the mood as the questions remain often difficult. The puns are often something Saturday Night Live poked fun at on its “Celebrity Jeopardy!” sketches, as the puns often went above and beyond what the regular show offers.

However, one of the latest categories had fans divided. Many found it hilarious and others seemed deeply offended at the name of the category. The category was “Only Fans.” Of course, for a lot of people with dirty minds, this brought up the memories of the OnlyFans website where people offer up private videos and photos for the cost of a subscription. Many porn stars use OnlyFans as a safe place to make a living in their trade.

However, that is not what the category was about. Instead, “Only Fans” was a Jeopardy! category about fan clubs and groups. One answer was “Lady Gaga has at least 3 tattoos honoring her biggest fans, called these.” The answer was her fan group, which calls themselves Little Monsters. The $1,000 answer in the category was “Because this band had a song called ‘The Juggla’, its fans are Juggalos & Juggalettes.” That answer was Insane Clown Posse.

Not all fans liked the pun, though.

Jeopardy! fans divided over the new category

Some fans watched Jeopardy! and thought it was funny when the “Only Fans” category popped up. One person on Twitter wrote that they giggled when the category came up, and admitted they couldn’t be the only one. Another simply posted a photo of the crying laughing emoji.

“I saw Jeopardy! and got a good laugh when they had a category called Only Fans. No, it had nothing to do with the website. It was just funny is all,” another wrote. However, for all the fans who thought it was hilarious, there were many who couldn’t take the joke.

One fan wrote they were going to cancel their cable subscription and another wrote that “Alex would’ve never allowed a category called Only Fans.” That fan must have missed when Alex Trebek went onto David Letterman’s late-night show and came up with “rejected categories” and had some even more risque than “Only Fans” – two of which were “Canadian Sex Secrets” and “Things That Throb.”
