The 1000-Lb Best Friends star recently showed some love to her fellow TLC star. Recently, both women have been getting a lot of attention as they take major steps toward their health and wellness goals.

Vannessa Cross encourages Tammy Slaton to keep going
Vannessa Cross had arguably one of the most dramatic transformations on 1000-Lb Best Friends. Although she wasn’t excited to start her weight loss journey, she later fell in love with exercise, nutrition, and fitness. After receiving bariatric surgery, Vannessa has encouraged her 1000-Lb Best Friends costars as they navigate their own challenges.
And now, it seems like Vannessa is more than happy to cheer on other TLC personalities too.
Just days ago, Vannessa Cross posted a video of herself dancing in a silky black robe, clearly proud of her own progress. But today, she’s proud to be Tammy Slaton’s cheerleader.
Tammy just shared a new selfie on Instagram. She’s wearing a cute white floral dress, which appears to be several sizes smaller than her old clothes. Until the TLC star shares specific numbers, fans can only speculate on how much weight she’s lost. But it appears that she’s on the right track.
“🔥🔥 GIRL YESS QUEEN you look amazing!!!! I’m so proud of [you]!!! It was not easy trust me I know but you did it!!!” Vannessa wrote on Tammy’s photo. Her comment received well over 400 likes on the first day alone. Many Instagram followers loved the display of friendship and comradery.
“We all need a hypewoman like you ❤️” one of Tammy’s followers replied to Vannessa’s comment.
“omg Nessa!! We need an episode with the bffs & sisters 🙌 please @tlc” another wrote, begging for a possible crossover episode.
Fans react to Tammy Slaton’s dramatic transformation
In general, fans were impressed with Tammy’s progress too. Many left kind words for the 1000-Lb Sisters star and encouraged her to keep going. At this point, it’s entirely possible she even surpassed her sister Amy in terms of weight loss.
But for the time being, Tammy is still dealing with a lot of loose skin. Until she is eligible for skin removal surgery, there isn’t a lot she can do about it. In the comments, some fans pointed out that Tammy could probably benefit from a sturdy bra.
“Get a bra boo,” an Instagram user wrote in the comments. A few followers echoed similar sentiments. But overall, many Instagram users really rallied around Tammy and applauded her progress.
