Honey Boo Boo Preps To Flee Pumpkin For Good
Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson is preparing to flee her sister, Pumpkin for good. The seventeen-year-old has lived with Pumpkin and her family since 2019. Now, she is making a big move and seeking out advice so she can get where she needs to go and fast. So, what is Alana up to? Read on for more details.
Honey Boo Boo Preps To Flee Pumpkin For Good
It seems like only yesterday that Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson was competing in pageants and wearing frilly dresses. Now, she is a high school graduate with a much older boyfriend. As seen on Family Crisis, her sister, Pumpkin has been emphatic that she fill out college applications. She wants Alana to have all of the opportunities that she missed out on because she got pregnant and married. Though Alana seems reluctant, in her confessionals, she shares she does have a plan. Her goal is to be a neonatal nurse.
Fortunately, she kept up her grades and ended up getting a scholarship to Regis University in Colorado. This is not anywhere near Georgia. Therefore, Alana will be over 1500 miles away from Pumpkin and her husband, Josh Efird plus their four kids. They have basically raised Honey Boo Boo and obtained sole custody of her in 2022. Plus, she will be away from her sisters Jessica ‘Chubbs’ Shannon and Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell who is battling stage 4 cancer. Now, it is getting even more real per a post on Alana Thompson’s Instagram stories.
She wrote: “realtors in denver, co??” So, clearly, Alana is ready to start her new life but it also appears that she is not going to be living in the dorms at school. Does this mean that her longtime boyfriend, Dralin Carswell will be accompanying her on this adventure? The school’s website does say that they have three residence halls on campus. Additionally, the school will assist in finding off-campus housing, as well. So, it seems that Alana is taking matters into her own hands and doing whatever she wants. Or, she could be looking for a place just for Dralin so he can be nearby.
When Will She Be Leaving?
Honey Boo Boo still has her summer at home with her family and friends. Furthermore, the current season of Family Crisis has her as a senior in high school figuring out her future. Yet, Mama June’s vow renewal was earlier in 2023 which will also be featured this season. Therefore, if the show is picked up for another season, it could very well follow Alana from prom to graduation to her ultimate move to Colorado. Hopefully, this is all she has dreamt of and more.
