Was Scandoval Staged? Vicki Gunvalson Speaks Out
Everyone has been talking about what happened between Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval. If you don’t already know, Sandoval was sleeping with castmate Raquel Leviss while he was still in a relationship with Madix, hence Scandoval. It went on for months before anyone found out. As well as it was right after the passing of Ariana’s dog Charlotte. The couple of nine years publicly split in March. Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson gives her opinion in a new podcast.
Was Scandoval A Publicity Stunt or Real Love?
Vanderpump Rules has drama every season, it’s one reason fans love the show. However, the drama has never really extended this far. Cast members are not showing any signs of forgiveness for the two who were having an affair, Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval, as Ariana has said she would never forgive them. Viewers are even unsure if we will see the Season 10 cast members return for next season. On a new podcast for FACTZ, Vicki Gunvalson does not seem too convinced the situation was genuine.
Viewers have watched this story unfold and have kept track of all the new information that comes out, following along as news is told. Regardless of the attention this story is getting, Gunvalson made it clear that this situation was not something on her mind very often. Vicki states
“Everybody has an affair, and I don’t really care.”
Even though Vicki is not eager to talk about the Scandoval, the country has seemed to react otherwise. Ariana Madix has received an insane amount of support from friends, family, and fans. Madix has filmed multiple commercials, started selling merch, and is opening a new sandwich shop with friend and cast member Katie Maloney. The affair has been talked about repeatedly and not just by entertainment sources. Politicians in Washington D.C. have even shared their opinions.
Ariana Madix Becomes Defensive
Ariana Madix has been very defensive regarding the rumors of the affair being staged while others validated her feelings. Madix stated she felt “insulted” by these comments while other cast members agreed and had her back as well. Gunvalson stated:
“They weren’t married. They knew what they were getting into. I think it’s all publicity,”.

Regardless, if fans knew Ariana was not crazy about the marriage idea, so did her “close: friends. Vicki went on with saying Tom Sandoval sleeping with Raquel for several months was “one hundred percent” fake. She thinks it was all a publicity stunt. Would the cast do something this extravagant for views?
