A short while back, Pumpkin was called out for the way that she had her kids in their car seats. Fans could see that they were not facing the right direction, especially for their ages and size. It was even shown on Family Crisis. There have also been times when her son, Bentley has been caught running outside without shoes on. Not a big deal but he is not always just running in their backyard. Plus, she has been shamed for her overly filthy mouth which she has displayed on TikTok. Along with her little sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, they went on a tirade against their fans which made some think they should be canceled.
Now, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird is in the hot seat once again. According to Reddit, Pumpkin recently went on TikTok to share her protein coffee of the day. As she was filming, her children were apparently looking for attention in the back. Yet, she was too busy to care. The OP wrote: “I just watched her latest post on TikTok and kept my eye on the babies in the background. If you look closely you can see that one of them isn’t strapped in. It only takes a few seconds to strap them in properly.”

Did anyone else notice this snafu, so to speak? “She doesn’t care about her kid’s safety in the slightest. She believes nothing bad will happen to her and her family because they are famous🙄,” one replied. Another added: “She couldnt give two sh*ts. This is the girl who puts her INFANTS forward facing. 🙄”

At this point, fans do not expect much more from Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird when it comes to tending to her children. Yes, she may love them but her attention to detail is seriously lacking. However, she does not seem to care what her followers and fans say about her at this point and never has. Fortunately, it seems like Alana, who Pumpkin has been raising for four years, is on a good path. She graduated high school and will attend college with a scholarship in the fall. So, she definitely did something right.
