A deleted quote from Austin Forsyth on TLC has surfaced online, leaving Duggar fans disturbed. It turns out that Joy-Anna Forsyth’s husband said something that was somewhat concerning, and the network opted to leave it out of the show. But a source revealed the details publicly this week. Austin Forsyth’s Deleted TLC Quote Goes Public

The Duggar fan who runs the Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray Facebook page had the opportunity to speak with a former TLC crew member. The source is said to be “reliable” and “vetted.” Several new details about the Duggar family and their TLC shows were revealed. At one point, the source opened up about something Austin said on the show after marrying Joy-Anna in May 2017.

Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray said, “Austin was reported to have said, while on his honeymoon with Joy-Anna in Switzerland, that ‘the transfer of authority from her father to me’ was his favorite moment of the wedding.”

Then, they added that the quote ended up being left out of the show, due to Jim Bob Duggar‘s discretion. The father of 19 had a final say about what was included in the two shows and what was edited out. Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray said, “Creepy. Run Joy!”

Duggar Fans Are Disgusted By This Statement

In the comments section of the Facebook post, fans are sharing their thoughts on Austin Forsyth’s statement. And many think it’s disturbing that this would be his favorite part of getting married to Joy-Anna. They agree that there’s too much emphasis on who Joy-Anna might “belong to.”

One Facebook user called Austin Forsyth’s comment “gross,” while another said they think that Austin is the most “controlling” husband of all.

One TLC fan said, “I think Austin genuinely loves Joy. He’s creepy, yeah. But I think he truly cares for her.” 

Regardless of how much Austin loves his wife or how he may feel these days, many Duggar fans are disturbed by this quote. They hope he’s changed by now.
